I've been talking with the angels each and every day and they said Louise, "It's time to go, we're sure you know the way."

Louise Emma (Scheit) Hering, ninety-eight, born to Albert and Emma (Ludtke) Scheit on July 23, 1914 in the Town of Wheaton, Chippewa County, went home to the Lord on April 1, 2013. She married Eugene Hering August 14, 1938 in Eau Claire and they had two daughters.

Louise loved to cross-stitch, play cards, cook, and read. She loved reciting nursery rhymes and stories, and you never knew what silly words of wisdom she would come up with next. Louise was a hard worker all her life, a Jack of all trades and master of "many". In her later years, she volunteered at St. Johns and Grace Apartments serving meals, organizing birthday parties and as hall monitor. In her short stay at Country Terrace in Altoona, you could find her playing Bingo several times a week.
Survivors include her daughters Sandra Connell of Janesville, WI, and Sharlean (Richard) Johnson of Fall Creek, WI; grandchildren: Ron (Nancy) Bergh, Vickie (Ken) Wright, Cindy Bergh, Cathy Thornton, Richard Jr. (Renae) Johnson, Dawn (Tim) Wells, Riley John, and Claudine Connell; great grandchildren: Amanda (Adam), Ron Jr., Brittany, Dan (Brandi), Rebecca, Mitchell, Madison, Kyle, Riley Afton, Dylan, Abigail, Caleb, and Faith; four great-great grandchildren, plus one more on the way; she is further survived by sister-in-law Edith Scheit, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by husband Eugene, son-in-law Riley, her parents, and brothers and sisters.
At ninety-eight, Louise has many of her family and friends waiting for her to join them in our heavenly home. She leaves the rest of us knowing that she is in a better place and to look forward to seeing her again.
She was buried on 6 Apr 2013 in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. Find A Grave Memorial# 146613187
